Most every day, without even knowing, your vehicle is counted by some type of traffic counter. Parking garages, car washes, fast food drive-thrus, shopping plazas and roadways are just a few places continuously gathering and analyzing traffic count data.
The Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel, FL is using one of our most popular traffic counters, the TC-RS50 Radar-based Vehicle Counter. Joseph Durnford, Director of Operations at The Shops at Wiregrass claims,
“The radar sensor is great. It needs power and once that is implemented, you don’t need any additional hardware. We’d like to install more of these sensors at each of our other five entrances.”

The 100th Annual NRF Convention and Expo came to a close this month as we made our fifth consecutive appearance. We had a great time exhibiting to the over 21,000 attendees at the Javits Center in New York City. Our newest product, the Dual View Thermal Imaging People Counter, made its debut at the show counting individuals as they passed by our booth.
Even those of us back at the office got a taste of the experience by following the chatty NRF Twitter feed. The weather was a common topic on the Twitter feed the last days of the show. A snow storm hit the city at the close of the show delaying departures and leaving many attendees and exhibitors more time to experience the city.
We would like to thank all who stopped by our booth. It was a pleasure meeting you! We look forward to connecting with our new retail acquaintances and we’ll see you all again at next year’s show.

Near Real-Time Traffic Volume
Sales Conversion Ratio (CR)
Store Performance Comparisons: Near Real-Time and Historical
