The new PC-THI60V-N Dual View Thermal Imaging IP People Counter uses a video camera to provide a recorded or live image of the detection area while using thermal imaging technology to count individuals.
The PC-THI60V-N is ideal for large retail chains where it is impractical to visit each location to configure systems. The camera view is used to aid in remote configuration, enabling each system to be setup from a headquarter location.
Thermal imaging technology, immune to changes in ambient light, senses infrared radiation to detect people traveling beneath the sensor. Sensing body heat, this technology is more accurate than traditional break-beam systems as it does not detect shopping carts, hand bags or other objects passing in the sensing area.
