Thanks to all of you who stopped by our booth at the 13th National PLA Conference in Portland, Oregon. For those who missed it, and our non-library readers, here are some snapshots of SenSource in action at our very first PLA appearance. Check out the recent ALA press release for a complete recap of the conference.
We enjoyed the company of our friendly exhibit hall neighbors, Debbie and the rest of the staff at Xerox FreeColorPrinters and Marilyn and Emily from the CLCD Company, LLC . The CLCD is an internet-based service providing acquisition, research and references to over 2 million MARC records and 450,000 reviews of children’s publications.
Our SenSource booth and staff safely made their 2,500 mile trip to Portland, Oregon for their first appearance at a PLA Conference!
Over 350 exhibitors filled the Oregon Convention Center floor with 900 booths, including those pictured here – Gaylord Brothers library supplies, Bretford Furniture, Playaway and Integrated Technology Group.
Among workshops and speaker sessions, some booths provided their own entertainment, like this Between the Lions themed booth where attendees could view products inspiring their young library patrons to get wild about reading.
