Accurately counting clear objects is now possible!
The latest addition to our parts counting sensors, the Transparent Parts Counter, PTC-RRTO, is capable of accurately detecting translucent, transparent and shiny objects. Perfect for detecting full bottles, empty bottles, aluminum cans, irregularly-shaped objects and shrink wrap along a conveyor belt, wraparound machinery, chutes and drops or material handling application.
The PTC-RRTO may also be used to control external devices triggering an action at a predetermined count or time-frame. For example, every five objects trigger a response to fill, cap, label, code or bag the batch.
Using retro-reflective sensing, the PTC-RRTO detects within a range of 6-inches to 8-feet. Boasting a 500 microsecond response time, this sensor is optimum for counting objects at high velocity. The PTC-RRTO is also available in conjunction with a data logger and 6-digit or 8-digit display.
