Carrying a stronger radio transmission enables this sensor to be placed an average of 325 feet away from its receiver counterpart within the facility, as opposed to 75 feet with a 418MHz transmitter. Also, operating with battery-power, this sensor is ideal for a wide array of locations where line-power is unavailable including recreational facilities, parks and exterior entryways. To accommodate mounting options for the wide variety of entryway styles, this two-part break-beam system is both front and side-firing and covers openings up to 40 feet wide.
This sensor’s durable casing includes a 6-digit LCD that displays count data and set-up parameters. As a power-saving feature, the LCD display only flashes while counting or activated, increasing battery-life. The 900MHz system combined with a Sensor Server Data Receiver enables computer integration to view count data as it is automatically placed into time-bins. One step further, Vea Software is installed in the system for automatic report generation and other customizable data options.
